The best about Cat's Hostel nights is the music, quite different form other bars in Madrid... Congrats to the DJ, that is ;) That would be the best after the fact that you get to know people from all corners of the world, e.g. a "muslem-jew-dutch-austrialian" mix. Quite interesting! ;)

El Cat's hostel es un gran palacete muy muy ambientado y muy economico, me parece mentira que en pleno centro de Madrid tengamos un sitio tan original como este palacio arabe que es todo un encanto lo malo de todo es que no se puede dormir con tanta marcha que tiene el Cat's Hostel y su fiesta de timbales en la cueva bar toda una pasada vamos lo recomiendo pero no para dormir y quien viene a Madrid a dormir . Desde Estepona Malaga un amigo os manda un cordial saludo y gracis por vuestra coordialidad

Cara, foi muito dez o Cat's hostel. Cheguei eu e o André Selicani. Conhecemos muitos amigos de todas as partes do mundo, como o Salvatore, o Emerson, o Fernando... Foi show. Excelente hostal, el mejor ambiente y econòmico, el Bar en cats sin duda un lugar en el que el tiempo vuela...en cuanto a seguridad no hay problema alguno, sus instalaciones las mejores, felicidades staff de cats

Hey guys, it is very true, it is the best yougth hostel in the world, I went to Madrid for one night and I found this great place and people soooo cool that I had to stay longer! I promise I will come back soon! ENJOY!

Genial el Cats!!! Aparte de ser un sitio precioso, los servicios están muy bien: un buen desayuno, recepción 24 horas, alquiler de toallas, etc. La cueva está también muy bien, siempre tiene ambiente!! Los baños limpísimos (el agua demasiado caliente!!) Sólo una recomendación: si compartís habitación con mucha gente... llevaros unos buenos tapones!! Lo demás, un diez!!! y por 15 euros!!

when we arrived at the cats hostel for our three nights things got WEIRD!!!!! beers were cheap however we became very suspicious of the actual size of the 1 litre beers after 2 half litre beers easily over filled the 1 litre cup...apart from this our stay was filled with much happiness thanks largely to the rather nice bird life. There is nothing better than waking up with a hangover and then to be served breakfast by a beautiful, well endowed woman!!! You would be mad not to stay here!!!! ENJOY

Cats hostel was by far and away the best hostel I stayed in during my 2 month travel around Europe.The staff were so friendly, the facilities were clean and there is nothing about the hostel that I disliked. I enjoyed it so much that im already planning my next trip back to Madrid. I would recommend it to everyone!

actually i think they are happy to be rid of me. I stayed in Cat's for a week and then left for Malaga, only to return a week and a half later for another two weeks at Cat's. The people who pass through are friendly and its amazing how many people come back for seconds. I saw people from the beginning of my stay back there before i left again. I loved the atmosphere and the people i met. Everyone is friendly and everything is basically perfect. except those damn locks on the doors of the rooms. it took me the full time i stayed there to master those. anyway, great location, great staff, great paella, great everything. Madrid no es tan bonita como Paris, pero es más barata, no es tan grande como Londres, pero es más ensolarada, no es tan historica como Roma, pero es más organizada. Pero, qué más hay en Madrid? EL CAT´S!! El mejor hostal de Europa, sin duda. Las personas "sono tutti buona gente", es limpio y muy bien localizado. Y el edificio es un palacio del siglo XVIII. Estoy en el hostal ahora (09 de febrero, 2006) y lo dejo mañana por la mañana. Pero sin antes decir MUCHAS GRACIAS, OBRIGADA, GRAZIE AND THANK YOU para el "staff".

Es el mejor Hostel que encontre en Europa, la comida, servicio e higiene, me invitan a volver nuevamente, y el precio..... me parecio sumamente accesible, comparado con Hosteles de otras ciudades. Garantizado esta muy bien ubicado, y que ambiente en el sotano.....
